| The concept of space is the ability of students to "fuzzy" the boundary of two-dimensional and three-dimensional space on their own initiative, consciously or automatically. It is an important component of spatial imagination and plays an irreplaceable role in making mathematics realistic. The"Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Compulsory Education"(2011 edition)puts forward the concept of space as the core concept for the first time.It clearly requires that the concept of space be established at the stage of compulsory education in the curriculum objectives, and the connotation of the concept of space should be specifically explained. Therefore, studying the development level of spatial concept of students in ethnic areas has important significance for the development of mathematics education in ethnic areas. This study selected 711 sixth-grade students from Xinjiang as samples, including four categories:North and South Xinjiang, men and women, school nature, and school model.First of all, according to the specific connotation of the concept of space, the selection of scoring standards, the selection of test questions, the use of quantitative analysis methods to analyze the overall situation of the development of sixth-grade students in Xinjiang space concept, the Institute selected students in the north and south, gender, education model, school Is there a significant difference in nature?Secondly, under the premise of acknowledging that there are stages in the development of primary school students’ spatial concepts, students’ error types on each test item are analyzed, and students’ error causes are inferred. Then, the level of error is used to determine the level of student’s level distribution on each test item. Finally, the conclusions are drawn from the analysis of the test results. The conclusions of this dissertation are as follows:There is still much room for improvement in the spatial conception of sixth grade students in the Xinjiang region. The student sampled in this paper does not perform satisfactorily in spatial measurement; It is significantly higher than that of students in South Xinjiang;the level of spatial conception of sixth grade students in Xinjiang is not significantly different;the level of spatial concepts of rural students sampled in this paper is significantly lower than that of county towns and urban students;Lower than bilingual students;this article checks the level of development of students’ spatial conception is severely differentiated. |
