Both Confucius and Socrates lived in the "axis age".During this period,the spiritual civilization of human beings gained great leap forward and began to examine the world with rational and moral methods.Confucius and Socrates were the source of moral education in the East and the west,and their ethical and moral thinking set the different cultural forms of the East and the West.Under the current form of cultural globalization,the eastern and western moral education thoughts are also constantly colliding,interweaving,merging and changing.The comparative study of Confucius' s and Socrates' educational ideas can make us understand the traditional culture of the East and the West more deeply.It is of great significance to choose and to absorb and to improve the current moral education in our country.This thesis makes a detailed explanation,comparison and analysis of Confucius' s and Socrates' educational ideas by using the methods of literature,text analysis and comparative study.On this basis,this thesis discusses the enlightenment to the construction of school moral education in our country based on the demand and practice of the current moral education in China.This thesis first examines the historical background of Confucius' s and Socrates' educational thoughts,and analyzes the background of his life,family and learning background,in order to have a clear understanding of the dynamic generation of the two moral education ideas.These factors have great influence on the formation of the moral education thoughts of the two.After that,this thesis discusses and analyzes the moral education thought of Confucius and Socrates from the three dimensions of purpose,content and method.Finally,combining the two moral education thoughts on the basis of comparison,examining the current situation of moral education in our country,and combining with its actual needs,this thesis puts forward the important position of moral education and pays attention to the exertion of the subjectivity of the education.It is necessary to cultivate students' rational thinking and moral emotion,to use the method of moral education flexibly and to give full play to the important role of educators.
