The new curriculum standards for high school ideological and political education proposed that the ideological and political curriculum should be structured into active discipline-based curriculum with core literacy as the leading factor,shorten the time for theoretical knowledge study,and increase students' length of activities.On the surface of the new curriculum reform,students are more free and active.Actually it have higher requirements and heavier tasks for students.Students need to acquire knowledge in their activities,increase their ability and cultivate values.Role-playing is an experiential and participatory teaching method that is in line with the nature of high school ideological and political courses after the reform of the new curriculum.The application of role-playing method in senior high school ideological and political classes can improve students' interest in learning and provide students with a stage for active participation and active display.Students can learn and understand theoretical knowledge through role-play in a more intuitive and visual context.This thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is a general overview of the role-play teaching method.The term"role" emerged from the initial drama and gradually evolved into "role-playing" applied to teaching.The author defines "role play" based on previous research."Role play" as a teaching method is used in high school ideology and politics with characteristics of simulation,interaction,experience and democracy.The Role-playing teaching method in the ideological and political education in senior high has positive meanings for the realization of teaching goals,students' all-round development and teachers' professional development.The second part is the analysis of the role-playing teaching method in the application of high school ideological and political courses.By attending high school ideological and political classrooms and the view of teachers and students in the role-playing pedagogy,it is concluded that the role-playing pedagogy in the application of ideological and political classes in senior high schools has problems such as unreasonable situation setting and incomplete student participation.The third part is to propose countermeasures for improving the role-playing in high school ideological and political education.On the basis of classroom observation and interviews,optimizing role-play teaching methods must create appropriate contexts to stimulate students' interest;overcome external factors and attract students' participation;timely teaching reflection,improve the quality of play,and maximize the advantages of role-play teaching methods.The fourth part describes in detail the process of applying the role-playing teaching method in the high school ideological and political class based on the optimization of the role-play teaching method.The study finds that there are still some problems in the application of role-playing method in the high school ideological and political education.It is necessary for ideological and political teachers to establish a correct teaching concept,stress the characteristics of different teaching methods,pay attention to the students' overall development,and play fully the advantages of role-playing teaching.
