This paper investigates the motivation of students' Chinese learning in three public middle schools in Quezon city,Philippines,by questionnaire,and finds that the students' learning behavior is lack of persistence and the main type of learning motivation is tool motivation.The students' Chinese learning depends largely on the teachers' teaching,while the instrumental motivation,the evaluation of the Chinese curriculum,the self-validity and the attitude have the greatest predictive effect on the Chinese learning behavior.In the difference of motivation difference between male and female,the motivation of male students is lower than the motivation of female students.The level of Chinese learning anxiety is higher than that of the Chinese learning anxiety.When Chinese learning,the degree of Chinese learning motivation is higher than that of the students who have been learning Chinese for more than one year.Based on the results of the investigation and combining the actual situation of Chinese teaching in Philippines,this paper proposes to improve the comprehensive level of teachers,establish effective classroom management mechanism,cultural experience to drive language learning,and to improve the teaching efficiency and improve the teaching efficiency by using various teaching methods and teaching methods on the premise of fully understanding the students' individual differences.The enthusiasm of Chinese learning and other strategies motivate Chinese learning motivation.
