| As an emerging sport,E-sports have been developing rapidly since its birth.After 10 years’ development ups and downs,the funds of all parties have poured into the E-sports industry in the background of technological innovation and loose policies.The E-sports competitions also have a new development in this context,and with the gradual maturity of live broadcast platforms and the significant increase of online and small games,the online events platform emerges at the right moment as a brand-new event organization tool.It can function as a media platform to integrate all sports resources with websites and APP as carriers or as a content producer for spectators or platforms to organize small events automatically on their own.This thesis has used the documentary analysis and interview survey to summarize the origin and development status of China’s events platforms,adopted the SWOT analysis method to analyze the main problems of the current online events platforms and online E-sports events,put forward the corresponding countermeasures for such main problems encountered and contributed a certain theoretical basis for sustainable development and level enhancement of the events platforms.Based on the above-mentioned research work,the main conclusions are achieved as follows:The main advantages of the platform development lie in: the convenience for holding and participating in online events,the mode of small-scale competitions rich in interactive participation and the convenient attributes for cooperation with all kinds of sports events.The main disadvantages of the platform development lie in: the insufficient means for platform publicity,single platform functions and types of events,fairness and risks faced by online competitions,network delay of online events and ornamental values of online events.The platform can use such development opportunities as follows: The mobile E-sports games tend to be developing rapidly,the tactical survival-based games have brought about a new trend and the live broadcast platforms are facing a new situation for development.The threats and challenges faced by the platform are as follows: the development and growth of the first-party events and the control and status decline of the third-party events.In view of the above-mentioned analysis,the following countermeasures have been put forward in this thesis:The core of online events platform should be event media services.Besides the core events platform function,we should focus on developing various functions and services,such as event information,game data,video and live media.The media platform can not be independent from he user traffic,in addition to the cooperative publicity of the events and live media,the development of the events platform cannot do without all kinds of media publicity channels,either web terminals or mobile clients can not develop successfully without the corresponding payment for publicity and promotion and it is particularly important at the stage of the early development.The domestic online events still have potential markets to be excavated and it is difficult to achieve good results in terms of the scale and development status of all current events platforms,but if more investment is available to attract users and shape brands,we may be able to harvest a lot.In terms of the current status of various events platforms,it’s hard to say they can exist and run for long,and considering the improvement of the first-party events system in the future and the pressure from the third-party events,the environment is likely to be more difficult;if no better opportunities can be found to improve the situation,it should be appropriate to consider the transition to other services. |
