Hurdle is one of the most important learning items in track and field general course teaching in physical education colleges at present.Because of its technical complexity,it requires higher physical and psychological quality,and the teaching hours are only about 16 hours.Therefore,how to make students master hurdle technology quickly and effectively in limited teaching time is a practical problem in hurdle teaching for a long time.Innovation develop other combinations and exercises of sponge blocks / cushions,apply them to the teaching of general hurdle technology,urge students to master hurdle technical movements faster and better in the limited teaching hours,in order to achieve the optimum teaching effect.To provide practical guidance and theoretical reference for the teaching reform of hurdle general course under the new form.Based on the analysis of traditional teaching contents,teaching methods and means,teaching equipment and so on,this paper applies the methods of literature,questionnaire,teaching experiment,mathematical statistics and so on,according to the students' physical and mental characteristics.The formation of sports skills,hurdle technology,teaching students are prone to make mistakes and facilities,and so on,the sponge block / cushion design combination,32 students(group 23 and group 26)of class 2017 of physical education in Wuhan Institute of physical Education were studied in order to improve the teaching effect of hurdle technology and to provide some help for students to master hurdle technology.The results show that:1.The experimental group's technical evaluation and achievement were significantly better than those of the control group,which indicates that the combination of 12 specific sponge block / cushion training methods designed in this study is successful and effective in the whole teaching process of hurdle race.2.There were significant differences between the two groups in the technical scores of each link of hurdle,among which,the difference of the technique of starting and crossing hurdle and the technique of running and running across the hurdle was very significant.It shows that the sponge combination exercises are the most obvious improvement to the technique of crossing the hurdle and the technique of running between the hurdles and the combination of running and crossing.3.Sponge / cushion combination exercises design takes into account and highlights the concepts of overcoming students' psychological fear,learning inducement in technical links,making mistakes easy,and teaching as a whole,etc.The teaching methods designed according to these concepts have proved to be helpful to improve students' learning efficiency.4.The spongy block / cushion combination exercise in hurdle teaching can also play a positive role in enriching the content of practice,arousing students' interest in learning and enhancing their self-confidence.
