Private higher vocational school has been lack of pertinence in faculty performance appraisal for a long time.We mainly copy the examination methods of general colleges and universities,which leads to a lot of drawbacks and troubles in the performance appraisal management of teachers in private vocational colleges in China.For example,the assessment indicators are not clear,the assessment methods lack rationality and objectivity,the assessment results lack effective communication and feedback and incentive mechanisms.Taking the HH Vocational and Technical College as an example,this paper analyzes the status quo and problems of teachers' performance appraisal in the college,and puts forward a more optimal and reasonable performance appraisal system based on this,so as to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the teachers and improve their personal professionalism.Therefore we can promote the development of vocational education in this institution.The optimization of this system has certain reference significance for other private vocational colleges at the same time.The paper comprehensively uses the reference method,interview method,theoretical analysis method,and relies on the theory of performance appraisal to conduct a comprehensive and systematic survey of the basic situation of the teachers' performance appraisal in the HH Vocational and Technical College,aiming to pass the performance appraisal analysis of the professional college teachers' series.We try to find out the problems and seek the optimal solution to solve the problems.The research idea of the dissertation is based on the idea of asking questions——analyzing problems—solving problems.Firstly,the status quo of teachers' performance appraisal in HH Vocational and Technical College is explained.After that,it summarizes the main problems in the performance evaluation of teachers in IIH Vocational and Technical College,and analyzes the reasons for the existing problems.The paper points out that the problems in the performance appraisal of HH Vocational and Technical College mainly lie in over-emphasizing individual appraisal,ignoring the department appraisal,lack of quantitative assessment of morality and energy,lack of professional appraisal personnel,and lack of scientific evaluation criteria for assessment indicators.The main reasons for analyzing the problems in performance appraisal are lack of understanding,poor communication,loopholes in implementation,and errors in the evaluation process.The scope of application of the results is narrow.In view of this,the objectives,principles,and ideas for the optimization of the teacher performance appraisal system in the HH Vocational and Technical College are clarified first.Afterwards,the overall framework of the performance appraisal index is redesigned,the weights of the indicators are determined,and a quantitative score assessment form based on the three indicators is developed.At the same time,it puts forward the optimization of the implementation process of the teacher performance appraisal system and the optimization of feedback and application.
