Education needs to deal with two core issues: "what kind of people to cultivate and how to cultivate people".This study first analyzes the necessity of conducting research-based learning----in the information age,the teacher's knowledge authority is challenged,and the requirements of the talents have been changed with the development of the times.This requires the cultivation of innovative talents.The curriculum reform in the world focuses on the change of learning style.The current situation of chemical education is that much attention is paid to the transmission of knowledge,leading to the ignorance of students' active exploration.This requires the task of teaching to be based on challenging tasks,and the solution of real problems in life and society,so that students can acquire knowledge,skills and key characters gradually,and break the current bad learning situation where attention is only fixed on the memory of knowledge.In this paper,the definition of chemical inquiry learning is defined: its essence is the change of the way of learning chemistry,from the traditional "discipline centered" to "problem centered",to solve problems of chemistry,to revitalize knowledge,methods and emotions.For the first time this research constructs the overall framework of research learning,combing the theoretical basis of research learning,the concept and features of research learning,the goal of research learning,the process of research learning and the developing strategies of research learning(including selection strategy,implementation strategy,evaluation strategy).This paper refines the implementation strategy of research-based learning,such as reality principle,autonomy principle,cooperation principle,guiding principles,etc..This paper also refines evaluation strategy,such as evaluation based on the purpose of the evaluation to develop,and based on the theory of multiple intelligences,and especially diversity evaluation etc.Under the guidance of the theories above,combining with the teaching practice developed a certain number of chemical research learning cases,such as Laboratory Research and Heavy Metal Toxicity of Waste Pollution Treatment,Empirical Research of Factory Water Pollution Problems and Different Gas Innovation Experimental Device Design at the Same Pressure as the Amount of Substance of the Same Volume,the development of the cases has some innovative,comprehensive and generalization.The development of the case is carried out around the research background,the research design,the implementation process,and the reflection perception and the case analysis.Finally,the value of the research-based learning on students' growth and development is discussed in the form of questionnaires and interviews.On the basis of practice and research,this paper refines the selection strategy of chemical research learning(students' interest,social life,moral education,interdisciplinaryencouragement and so on).This study examines the obstacles to the implementation of research-based learning and puts forward countermeasures to promote research-based learning(changing teachers 'concepts,evaluation systems,and social culture).This study proves the value of chemical research learning to the growth of students through interviews and questionnaires.This paper takes a close look at the barriers in conducting research-based learning,and puts forward the solutions to promote the research-based learning----the change of teaching methods,the change of teachers' ideas and the reform of the evaluation system and social culture.Comprehensive practice is the highlight of the curriculum reform and the difficulty of implementation.The research study combined with subjects can solve the problem of research learning to a certain degree,which lacks the guidance teachers and research time.The developed case and the summarized strategies in this research have some reference value to solve the predominant problem in the current chemistry education.It is of practical significance for other teachers to carry out research study in combination with discipline and to promote the normalization of research oriented learning.The author keeps the journal,and forms the micro results.The method of keeping the research journal and sharing via the technology is expected to be enlightening the other teachers.
