In traditional education,educators often pay too much attention to the value of success and ignores the role of failure in student learning,which is not conducive to students' learning and development.Productive failure is a learning design theory,which aims to postpone the direct instruction of knowledge and provide students with the opportunity to generate representation and solutions.Mathematics education is an important part of the field of education,the value of productive failure in studying primary school mathematics which serves as the basis of mathematics education should be emphasized,so that students can lay a solid foundation for long-term mathematics learning.First of all,through surveying a large number of documents,the present study summarizes the research status of productive failure in both domestic and abroad,and defines some related concepts,such as productive failure,learning design and learning intervention.Secondly,we determined the protocol and research process of productive failure learning intervention,built the learning intervention prototype of productive failure,constructed the framework of productive failure learning intervention prototype,and described and analyzed each part of the model.Finally,based on the framework,two rounds of study were performed to practically explore its learning intervention strategy;while data collection,analysis,revisions and improvements were made after each round of experiment to guarantee the validity of productive failure inspired interventions.Through analysis of achievements,students' mathematical learning experience as well as student satisfaction,this thesis summarizes the learning effect after two rounds of experiments,defines the procedure and guarantees the validity of productive failure inspired interventions improves the framework of productive failure learning intervention prototype.The framework can facilitate teachers to design specific learning intervention measures from four aspects,such as learning tasks,learning support,learning structure and learning norms,according to the actual situation.In addition,this study shows that productive failure is not only conducive to the improvement of students' academic performance and problem-solving ability,but also improves students' learning experience in cognition,behavior and emotion.Productive failure learning design has not received much attention in our educational field and the corresponding theory and implications are still at the exploratory stage.Although there are some shortcomings in this research,the research results are still inspiring.Through this research,we hope to make certain contributions to the development of productive failure learning,and make the purposely designed learning interventions even more important in mathematics learning.
