Population aging is an irreversible trend around the whole world.In order to face this new trend,many countries and regions try their best to take measures to enhance the well-being of the aged people,education is one of the effective measures to push the active aging of senior people,which regards as the critical factor to facilitate senior people's healthy aging and successful aging.Taiwan province has been a aging society since 1993,where the proportion of senior people over 60 has been 10%,likewise,the proportion of senior people over 65 has been 7%,which conforms to the standard of the Aging Society released by WHO(World Health Organization),and until the 2018,Taiwan province has stepped into the Aged Society.The heavy population aging and acceleration of aging speed have an great impact on Taiwan's economy and society,at the same time,the increased aged people gave birth to senior education,various senior education managed by its local government or social organization rises in Taiwan province in recent years,which also make great progress in theory and practice,especially the senior education policy published by its local Education department,which provides a legal basis for its development of senior education.Based on text analysis,survey research as well as date analysis,this paper takes Senior Active Learning Center of Taichung in Taiwan province as an example,combines the texts of related aging education policy,especially the policy that its education department has published.So as to analyze the practical development of local senior education based on the guidance of A White Paper of Senior Education Towards Aged Society and provide some referable experience for the development of senior education in mainland.This paper takes the seniors in Senior Active Learning Center of Taichung as an example using questionnaire survey and SPSS 22.0 analysis,at the same time,talks with three teachers randomly in senior Active Learning Demonstration Center of Taichung to collect dates for this research.We find that there are some problems in the development of Senior Active Learning Center,which is under the direction of A White Paper,such as course planning,teachers' professionalization and so on.Thus we suggest that the development of the senior education policy should pay more attention on the practical value,so that to protect seniors' education rights.The last part discusses some referable experiences for mainland by summarizing problems in senior education of Taiwan province,such as perfecting related legal system,encouraging social organizations invest senior education and putting more emphasis on teachers' professionalization of senior education.
