Taiwan Aboriginal Austronesian language was extensive used in the world,accounting for about 20% of the total, is known as the world’s largest family of languages and the most widely distributed, occupies an important position in the academic history of world culture. However, due to Taiwan’s colonial rule, the political changes, inappropriate language education policy influenced, Taiwan aboriginal languages are endangered. After the World War II, the government of Taiwan adopted to different language education policies in different social periods,which directly affected the preservation and development of aboriginal languages.Therefore, it is very necessary and urgent to analyze and evaluate the different periods of Taiwan aboriginal language changing and tendency of its development.The research method of this paper adopts the method of literature analysis and historical research method of combining. Through the literature analysis, the research systematically described Taiwan aboriginal education policy and language education policy, emphasized to explore different language education policies of the historical background, main content, implementation and evaluation after World War II.In this study, it is mainly reflected in three aspects. First of all, this paper systematically analyzed the four stages of the development of education policy and language policy in Taiwan after World War II, namely, "emperor" stage, development stage, open integration of aboriginal education stage, implementation stage,comprehensive and unique summarized the developing policy of education in Taiwan.Furthermore, the division of language education policy in Taiwan since the end of World War II for the Mandarin promotion(1945- 1987) and Multicultural Language Education(1987-now) two times, it refined the main content of the two periods of language education policy implementation effect, and made the evaluation in the end.Finally, through the analysis of the policy, find the policy of Taiwan indigenous language education problems, put forward proposals to dialysis, and reflect on the mainland of minority language.In the promotion of Mandarin Chinese, in addition to the co-ordination of resources, but also pay attention to step by step, should not be too intense. We should try to save the local dialects and minority languages in the popularity of Chinese, the endangered dialects and minority languages, we can learn from the experience of Taiwan, the implementation of ethniclanguage certification system, to rescue and save these languages, slow their decline.
