The period from the 1930s to 1940s was the peak in Chinese teaching.The middle school Chinese teaching by Ruan Zhen and Jiang Boqian in the same writing name was the representative of the same study in two eras.This paper selected the middle school Chinese teaching as the research object.On the one hand,it is good for everyone to have the profound cognition on two education masters’Chinese education thought.On the other hand,by exploring their features,the author hoped to provide some reference for Chinese teachers’teaching activities and education study.The thesis consists of three parts:introduction,text and conclusion.There are four chapters in the text.In the process of research,the four methods of literature research,historical research,text reading and comparative analysis were used to collect data in various ways and to read and compare the data.On this basis,the similarities and differences of the two books were started.First of all,the development of Chinese teaching in the early 20th century and 1940s is sorted out,and the status and influence of the two works are made clear in the process of combing.Secondly,the author gives an overview and a brief introduction to the two books,so as to have a preliminary understanding and understanding of it.After that,compares the teaching material view,reading teaching and composition teaching.These three parts are an important part of Chinese teaching,and both authors have focused on it.The results of their research are different and similar,with their own unique insights.The main part of the thesis is to analyze the research features and explored the source of two writings.The writing by Ruan used the paradigm of the positivism,showing the scientificity,while the writing by Jiang used the paradigm of empiricism,showing the outstanding practicability.Both writers used different paradigms,showing the bright features.All of these have been related to their school experience and educational philosophy.Based on the above research,this chapter summarizes some inspirations of education concept,education research and teacher view.Ruan and Jiang books of the same name in the middle of the 20th century,it has a history of more than 70 years,but for the language teachers and language education theory researchers,these two books are of great reference value.This kind of reference value lies not only in their research results,but also in the methods used in the research process and the unwearying spirit of inquiry into Chinese teaching.
