In the context of a deep-rooted teacher-centered ideology,Jiang Boqian was early to focus on the issues of “learning” of students.He builds on his years of teaching Chinese experience,he has raised his student-oriented practical experience to a theoretical level,incorporating “student-centered” thinking into teaching materials and pedagogy.In the writing of textbooks,He believes that we should pay attention to the students' age,practical needs,and the cultivation of automatic research ability;In the teaching method,he attaches importance to creating opportunities for students to learn on their own,cultivating their interest and ability to learn automatically,and believes that the teacher's responsibility is to supervise,counsel and encourage;At the same time,Jiang Boqian has set strict requirements for the professionalism of Chinese teachers.The core of Jiang Boqian's student-oriented thinking is of great historical value in the history of language education in China,and it is also of reference significance today.However,current research on Jiang Boqian often ignores his core idea of student-oriented.Therefore,this study will start from the perspective of Jiang Boqian's student-centered research,and explore the value of Jiang Boqian's “student-centered”thinking in middle school Chinese education in the 1930 s and 1940 s by analyzing the concrete manifestations of his “student-centered thinking” in the writing of textbooks,reading teaching,writing teaching,and extracurricular guidance,in order to provide reference for Chinese teaching today.The main part of this study has three chapters:Chapter 1:“Student-based” Thought in the Editing of Middle School Chinese Textbook by Jiang Boqian.Starting from the realistic basis of Jiang Boqian's concept of student-oriented textbook compilation,this paper summarizes the three principles of Jiang Boqian's student-oriented textbook compilation,and analyzes the specific performance of Jiang Boqian's student-oriented textbook compilation.Chapter 2:“Student-based” Thought in the Middle School Chinese Teaching by Jiang Boqian.Starting from the three aspects of Jiang Boqian's student-based thinking in reading teaching,the student-based thinking in writing teaching,and the student-based thinking in extracurricular guidance,this paper systematically interprets Jiang Boqian's student-based thoughtin the secondary schools Chinese teaching.Chapter 3:Historical Value and Contemporary Lesson from the “Student-based”Thought in the Middle School Chinese Education by Jiang Boqian.Provide reference for the current three aspects of “teaching” and “learning” mutual promotion,reading instruction and writing instruction.Exploring the historical value of Jiang Boqian's clear focus on students,giving full attention to extracurricular guidance,and clearly proposing the necessary qualities to support teachers in carrying out student-centered teaching activities.
