An Empirical Study On The Influence Of Population Aging On The Industrial Structure Of Henan Province

Population as the most important factor in promoting economic growth in a country or region,its quantity,age structure and quality have an important impact on the industrial structure of a country or region.In terms of the age structure of the population,China entered the aging society in 1999.In Henan,the proportion of people's aged 65 reached 7.1% in 2000.By the time of 2016,the aging rate of Henan has reached 10.2%,and the aging degree has been increasing.With the increasing speed of the aging population growth,Henan Province,as a major agricultural province,relies on the original economic structure to promote the development of the high quality of the economy,and it is imminent to optimize the industrial structure.This paper first analyzes the relevant results and literature on the impact of population aging on industrial structure,and then defines the two concepts of population aging and industrial structure,and according to the data of the fifth,sixth population census in Henan province and the statistics year of Henan in 1980-2016.In view of the data,the data of the population aging in Henan province is analyzed.Then,the population dependency ratio,the first,second,third industry and the per capita GDP are compared in Shandong,Jiangsu and Shanxi provinces,which are similar to Henan's geographical location,and the relevant data of the country are taken as the benchmark.In order to comprehensively analyze the current situation of aging and industrial structure in Henan province.Secondly,from five ways of labor supply,consumption structure,investment,productivity and income,this paper analyzes the influence of population aging on industrial structure in Henan Province,and puts forward the hypothesis on the influence of the aging of the population of Henan on the second industry,the third industry and the industrial advanced,and carries out the return analysis,and carries out a test of the proposed hypothesis.Prove that the hypothesis is set up.Finally,according to the empirical results of the impact of population aging on the industrial structure of Henan province,and combining with the aging of the population inHenan and the characteristics of industrial structure,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward,which can provide reference for the upgrading of the industrial structure and economic development of Henan province.
