In the 1960s,Tony Buzan put forward the concept of "Mind Mapping".First,it was only used for taking notes.Later,people kept digging with the role of Mind Mapping and found that it could enhance memory,creativity and personal intelligence.Therefore,it is widely used all aspects including study,work and life.The arrival of the information age further pushes the development of Mind Mapping,and then it is soon popularized around the world in term of training and education.Researches on Mind Mapping in teaching are mature in foreign countries.Mind Mapping can not only promote teachers' teaching,but also promote students' learning,which has been recognized by more and more people.With the advancement of new curriculum reform in China,higher requirements for teaching have been put forward and it has become an inevitable trend to change the teaching methods.Mind Mapping naturally comes into the eyes of the educators.After consulting the literature,I find that at present,researches on Mind Mapping in teaching in China are still relatively larger and growing year by year,but researches on Mind Mapping in the mathematics teaching in high school are less,mostly focus on review classes and it's all general.Therefore,with the basis of previous studies,this paper analyzes the present situation in high school mathematics teaching of new classes,review classes and exercise classes and combining with the characteristics of Mind Mapping,explores the specific methods of Mind Mapping in the applications of the three classes and applies Mind Mapping to the mathematics teaching in high school in order to improve the teaching effect.Through long-term practice and analysis of students' math scores,questionnaire results and interview results,this research verifies the effectiveness of the introduction of Mind Mapping into high school mathematics teaching,and we can get the following conclusions:(1)Mind Mapping can improve the students' grades to some degree;(2)Mind Mapping can improve students' interest in mathematics learning;(3)Mind Mapping can help students construct mathematical knowledge system;(4)Mind Mapping can develop students' thinking quality to some degree.
