Nowadays,in the global cultural and economic integration,it is particularly important to emphasize the coexistence of various ethnic cultures,under Multicultural Background,education is more emphasis on cultural diversity.The class art appreciation education for senior high school students should not only expand students' knowledge capacity,but also improve students' aesthetic ability,it should also including let students primary understand the concept of art,the relationships between art works and other disciplines,history,the time and environment in which they live.Under the banner of multiculturalism,we can say that art education is a representative of ideology,which teach human should have multiple vision.Based on the general situation of high school art education in teaching area,this paper emphasizes how art appreciation links multiculturalism with the practice of teaching curriculum under the background of multiculturalism.The author hopes that through the discussion and research of this paper,when returning to teaching position to impart knowledge,it will be helpful to broaden the students' inherent knowledge of the art course study,and play a positive role in the students' better study and life.The content of this paper been divided into three parts:the first part mainly introduces the relationship between multicultural background,multiculturalism and senior high school art appreciation education,at the same time,discusses the current situation and existing problems of our senior high school art appreciation under the multiculturalism;The second part is based on the first part,research the art appreciation education teaching practice;the third part is comprehensively combine the previous text,focusing on reflection of senior high school art appreciation teaching practice under the multicultural background.To sum up,this paper,on the one hand,analyzes the important points of art appreciation education in senior high school under the multicultural background by comparing the current situation of art education in various countries,in order to supplement the relationship between multiculturalism and art education in senior high school,on the other hand,taking the course case of art appreciation class in senior high school as the material,discusses under the current multicultural background,the reaction of multiculturalism in the teaching of art appreciation education in senior high school,then the hope of continuous research can be brought out.
