Under the background of globalization,the multi-cultural exchange and diversified development has become a major concern.Among the colorful cultures,music is an important form and carrier of human culture,which reflects the development of different peoples and different cultures.In the recent years,the education of music has become more and more important issue in the modern multi-cultural music education across the world.According to High School Music Curriculum standard,music education is aimed to carry forward the national music and help students to understand the diversity of various cultures.However,there still exist some improper and unsatisfying phenomena among the present music education.Most of the teachers are lacking in a full understanding of High School Music Curriculum Standard.They choose the teaching content at a random and fail in helping students appreciate the music works deeply and culturally.In class,students just enjoy the music given but can't understand the cultural background.Therefore,the aim of understanding and respecting diverse cultures can't be reached.To solve the problems.I have made some investigations in high schools of Weifang out of interest and responsibility.Based on the origins of High School Curriculum Standard,I conducted some researches on high school music appreciation teaching.While conducting the researches,I study varieties of documents,make good use of questionnaires and analyze the teaching resources.Through the above methods,I follow the origins of multi-cultural music teaching and its development as well as make a thorough explanation of the two dimensions of the standard and practice.In order to find solutions to the universal problems in High School Music Appreciation Teaching in Weifang,I integrate the colorful teaching contents,enrich the teaching materials;excavate the culture elements and improve the teaching methods.As for the research content and structure arrangement,at first the reasons for choosing the topic are introduced and then the main contents are divided into four chapters.In chapter one,the multicultural music education is generally summarized.According to the logical relations,it explains multicultural culture,multicultural education,and the conceptions of multicultural music,and it combed the development of multicultural music education from the perspective of historical traces.In chapter two,the multicultural music education and the high school music appreciation teaching are connected together,which includes the influence of the music course standard on multicultural music education,the requirement s of multicultural music education for high school music appreciation teaching and the meaning of multicultural music education in high school music appreciation teachingIn chapter three,there are 600 students in six high schools in Weifang in the questionnaire,in which the problems of high school music appreciation teaching are analyzed,combing the analysis of Weifang public classes and the local normal ones.In chapter four,according to the problems in this chapter,it explores the concept of high school music appreciation from the multicultural teaching,and puts forward some suggestions of improvement and provides the author's two complete practice teaching cases in order to reflect the integrated application of the above improvement countermeasures.
