The basic education reform continues to advance,the country attaches importance to students' scientific inquiry ability.The history of biological science contains rich educational resources,which can be said to be the epitome of scientific inquiry.Organizing inquiry teaching based on the history of science can.cultivate students' scientific inquiry ability.It also hopes to provide teaching experience for first-line teachers.On the basis of reading a large amount of literature,this article discusses the history of biological sciences,the ability of scientific inquiry and its constituent elements,scientifically understands the history of biological sciences and scientific inquiry capabilities,and analyzes the theoretical basis for the study.Based on the above theoretical basis,the combination of scientific history and scientific inquiry,combined with the inquiry learning and HPS teaching model,summarizes the basic flow of using scientific history to develop students' scientific inquiry ability,and summarizes the teaching design that uses the history of biological science to develop students' scientific inquiry ability.It provides a reference for the teacher to train students' scientific inquiry ability to carry out instructional design.In the practice research and analysis of this article,the parallel class of the second grade is selected as the experimental object.Before the experimental teaching,the questionnaire survey and interview method are used to make a preliminary understanding of the current application of the history of science in the classroom and the scientific inquiry ability of the students,so that reasonable Adjust the teaching process.The content of high school biology teaching is mainly combinatorial analysis of the compulsory two modules,selecting the appropriate content to use the history of science to develop the teaching design and implementation of the student's scientific inquiry ability.After the teaching practice,the results of the student's scientific inquiry test questions are processed with Excel and SPSS software.Data statistics and analysis,the results are as follows:The results of scientific inquiry test in experimental class are higher than those in the control class,and there are significant differences;the proportion of high scores in the experimental group is higher than that in the control group,and the proportion of unqualified persons is lower than that in the control group.It can be seen that the use of the history of biological science combined with scientific inquiry to organize inquiry learning,this teaching method can improve students' scientific inquiry ability to a certain extent and improve the overall level of students,and has certain practical value.The author also proposed teaching suggestions through teaching practice and introspection:selecting a suitable history of biological sciences,selecting teaching objects,grouping in the classroom reasonably,teaching relying on biological science knowledge,and treating science history objectively and impartially.And the reflection of the lack of research:teaching time is short,lack of comprehensiveness,the evaluation of scientific inquiry ability is relatively single.
