Ukrainian Ritual Food And Leisure Culture

Ritual food plays an important role in spiritual life of the Ukrainians.It does not only perform the function of forming traditional Ukrainian mentality,but also shapes the peculiarities of leisure culture.In Ukraine,ritual food and leisure culture are tightly interrelated,being incorporated in ritual life of people.Ritual food reflects the peculiarities of the religious duality and rich traditional culture of the Ukrainians.Current research attempts to analyze Ukrainian ritual food in connection with traditional leisure culture,focusing on the features of Ukrainian mentality that is reflected through leisure.Therefore,the author investigates the peculiarities of Ukrainian religious dualism in the context of traditional ritual culture and studies the interrelation between rituals and ritual culture.Moreover,current research gives an insight into rich ritual life of the Ukrainians...
