With the rapid development of the world economy,the competition between countries is becoming increasingly fierce.Always maintain the leading position power in our country,we must implement the strategy of developing the country by relying on science and education and the strategy of reinvigorating China through human resource development,to develop our country's education,through education training more scientific and technological personnel,to cope with the growing of the international situation.Primary school science education,as an important part of basic education,plays a very important role in the cultivation of national innovative talents and the improvement of comprehensive strength.But for the moment,the elementary school science education did not cause the attention of the schools,teachers and parents.They still regard science as "less important",lead to the quality of primary school science education cannot be improved for a long time.In the face of this severe situation,the author takes xichuan county as an example,adopts questionnaire survey and interview method,conducts surveys and interviews with 157 science teachers and 420 students and some elementary school principals in this county,and tries to reflect the problems existing in education of primary school science,find out the reasons,and put forward feasible Suggestions.This study is divided into four parts: The first part is the introduction.In this part,the author firstly puts forward the questions to be studied,then carries on the core concept definition and literature review,and finally discusses the purpose,significance,thought and method of the research.The second part is the investigation and research on the current situation of science education in Xichuan County.The author designed a survey plan first,and then separately from the basic situation of science teachers,Science class opens and activities conduct,the school hardware equipment and utilization,scientific teaching situation,the situation of the students learning science classes,teachers training and scientific teaching evaluation on these aspects to the results of the survey were described in detail.The third part is the problem presentation and cause analysis.In this section,the author combs and summarizes the problems presented by the present situation,and probes into the causes of these problems in depth and detail.The fourth part is the countermeasures and Suggestions.In view of the present situation,the author puts forward five reasonable Suggestions: first,attach importance to scientific education,and formulate measures to ensure the effective implementation of scientific education;second,strengthen capital investment and improve equipment utilization,and make full use of existing resources.Third,improve classroom teaching and improve the effectiveness of teaching;fourthly,perfect pre-service and post-career training,improve teachers' professional quality in an all-round way.Fifth,adopt diversified teaching evaluation system.The author through research of xichuan county primary school science education present situation,the purpose is to hope that this research can cause the attention of the authorities,schools,teachers and parents,and take relevant measures to promote the healthy development of the region's primary science education,and also to lay a solid foundation for the training of the scientific and technological talents needed for the future social development and the citizens with higher scientific literacy.
