Sports is an indispensable course for school education.Similarly,the textbook “Sports and Health” plays an important role in physical education.It plays an important role in the mastery of students' knowledge and skills in physical education and in the study of related health knowledge.In the process of high school curriculum reform,the writing and use of textbooks is an important part of the new curriculum reform.This research mainly focuses on the textbook "Sports and Health" published by East China Normal University Press.It investigates the use of textbooks of "Sports and Health" written by high school students in Dongguan City to understand the problems existing in the use of textbooks.The factors that cause these problems are analyzed,and the corresponding research conclusions and solutions are drawn.With a view to provide a reference for the preparation and use of textbooks.Through the collection of a large number of documents,teachers' questionnaires and student questionnaires were designed.They were Dongguan Ma yong Middle School,Dongguan No.1 Middle School,Dongguan No.8 High School,Dongguan High School,Hanlin Experimental School,Dongguan Middle School,and Dongguan No.2 High School.7 The school's 720 students and 30 teachers were the subjects of the survey.To further understand the use of textbooks by teachers and students,this study also designed interview outlines and student interview outlines,and conducted interviews and exchanges with 30 students and 20 physical education teachers.In this study,the use of textbooks such as “Sports and Health” was understood through literature,questionnaires,interviews,and statistical methods.The following conclusions were drawn:(1)The lack of understanding of new curriculum reforms by teachers and students' perceptions of physical education and health curriculum is an important factor in the low utilization of textbooks.(2)The contents of the textbooks selected for "Sports and Health" are inconsistent with the actual teaching contents of senior high schools,and help teachers to prepare lessons and students to learn sports knowledge is relatively small.(3)Teachers' attitudes on using "Sports and Health" textbooks influence students' attitudes toward using textbooks.(4)The contents of textbooks are too old,too slow to update,lack of enlightenment and limited knowledge,and do not meet the requirements of modern students.In summary,the following suggestions are made:(1)The implementation of the textbook selection system of "Sports and Health" in Dongguan is not in place.(2)There is a lack of textbook preparation.For students,the contents of textbooks are not able to attract students' attention,nor can they guide them in terms of practicality and practicality.There is a lack of content between content and content.The links,lack of guidance through sports penetration health knowledge.For teachers,the arrangement of textbook content is not helpful to teachers in practicality and innovation.(3)Assessment of student sports performance—The lack of theoretical assessment is a key factor affecting students' use of textbooks.(4)The teacher's use of textbooks to guide students is not in place and is an important factor that affects students' use of textbooks.(5)Teachers have indirect influence on students' use of textbooks.
