"Colonial education" is a planned educational activity that was carried out or supported by the colonial government to achieve,consolidate or renew the exploitation and oppression of the colonial peoples.Colonial education is compulsory and semi-mandatory,and will penetrate the linguistic education of the sovereign state,emphasizing the technical and skill education,intentionally weakening the national consciousness.Since modern times,with the decline of Chinese civilization and the rise of Western civilization,in order to meet the needs of the British imperial system transformation and the interests of colonial rule,the British colonists actively carried out colonial education in Hong Kong,English language education as a leader and logo,History education and civic education as the wings,science and technology education as the main body of the colonial education system,making Hong Kong's political identity model different from the normal national nation's normal logic,distorting the concept of "country" and "ethnicity" of Hong Kong secondary school students and even Hong Kong society.According to official statistics,around the corner of the reunification of Hong Kong,the national identity of Hong Kong secondary students is far below Hong Kong identity,while the political system and political values of the mainland are also deeply doubt.After the reunification,the central government and the SAR Government attach great importance to Hong Kong's national identity reconstruction,and actively develop national education,including national conditions,national,"Basic Law" education.But at the same time,on the one hand,the national education in Hong Kong has no dependence on the path of "civic education" in the period of Hong Kong and British government,both in terms of title,main content and value orientation.On the other hand,the current national education has not solved the confusion of Hong Kong Society between the national identity and party identity,primordial identity and achievement identity,local recognition and national identity.Hong Kong society is still faltering on the road of identity reconstruction.In view of this,the future of national education in Hong Kong must change the former path,setting the integrity,adaptability,political,long-term and diversity as the principle,strengthening Chinese history,language,socialist democracy,the history of contemporary Chinese society and the "one country,two systems" and "basic law" and other education,strengthening policies and system security from the legal system construction,financial support,teacher team building and social running school management and other aspects,to build a historical adaptation and the long axis of the national education system,to complete the removal of the Hong Kong British government "civic education" historical influence,to promote the Hong Kong society consciously looking for their own narrative words,under the framework of the history of Chinese nation.
