China school traditional national sports are integral part of our education system, is a powerful supplement to inheriting national culture, carrying forward the national spirit. With the urgent needs of countries promote cultural soft power, the study of traditional sports schools was widely concerned.The purpose of this study is to the context of cultural soft power, path dependence theory and education for sustainable development based on the theory and use of literature, interview, questionnaire, class research, mathematical statistics, logic analysis, from the “national cultural soft power” to cut into the schools national sports development path. Sort out the historical context of the traditional martial arts for the school national sports, combined with the reality of social background, expand the detailed analysis of the reality of the path of social transformation of the traditional school national Physical Education, and then our school traditional national sports development path more detailed exploration. The main conclusions are as follows:First, “School of traditional national sports culture” means common schools training to overall development goals, through the creating of traditional sports culture of the Chinese nation, role in social and cultural activities and physical education activities and methods.
