Since December 2016,the state required that school students’ study tour be included in the teaching plan,school students’ study tour has been rapidly developed and widely valued.Due to the flexibility and fuzziness of policy implementation,there are some problems in related practice activities,such as low penetration rate,unbalanced regional development,low enthusiasm of schools and uneven social evaluation.Therefore,it is of urgent and important practical significance to study school students’ study tour demand and provide theoretical support for their sustainable development.This study puts special emphasis on the diversity of subjects of school students’ study tour demand.Based on this particularity,the study tries to explore the demand characteristics,influencing factors and mutual relations of multiple subjects,including government,schools,students,parents and tourism enterprises,based on the logic analysis method,combined with interview and questionnaire survey methods.On this basis,efforts are made to seek the mechanism of sustainable development of school students’ study tour.The study found that:(1)There are obvious differences in the demands of school students’ study tour,which leads to four main contradictions: Regional imbalance caused by differences in financial capacity;The contradiction between the national quality education demand and the pursuit of enrollment rate of some schools and parents;The contradiction between students’ entertainment experience preference and parents’ high quality education preference;The contradiction between the profit-making of tourism enterprises and the public welfare of school students’ study tour.(2)In the process of the development of school students’ study tour,the government’s study tour fund support and process supervision are important external driving forces,while the level of regional economic development and GDP evaluation system are important factors that restrict the government’s implementation efforts and performance;The evaluation system of the enrollment rate hinders the implementation efficiency of the school;The students are usually in a passive state,and their experience demands are affected by factors such as study period,the design of study tour courses,other demographic and sociological factors;As consumers and evaluators,families’ demands are limited by family income,parents’ education level,education consumption preference,study tour cognition and so on,among which study tour cognition has a significant impact on study tour preference,while emotion plays a mediating role in the impact of study tour cognition on study tour preference;The moderate involvement of tourism enterprises can provide strong support for schools to reduce the operating cost of study tour and improve the professional level of study tour courses.In view of the demand differences and demand influencing factors of each subject,this study puts forward four policy suggestions: First,the central government should increase the investment of special funds for school students’ study tour to ensure the fairness of education;Second,local governments should focus on regulation and control in fund raising,establishment of evaluation mechanism,supervision process and implementation of preferential policies for enterprises;Third,primary and secondary schools should closely adhere to the education orientation,and constantly improve the level of study tour curriculum development and organization,so as to improve the participation of students and parents;Fourth,colleges and universities should strengthen the training of study tour tutor and study tour curriculum design teachers;Fifth,tourism enterprises should take the initiative to integrate into the education system as an auxiliary in the development of school students’ study tour market,and seek benefits and returns in the fully assuming social responsibilities.
