In recent years,teachers’ evaluation system has not adapted to the current situation of promoting teachers’ professional development.Individual teachers are not satisfied with the requirements of the evaluation system,especially when the working experience of the headteacher works as a hard condition of teacher evaluation,which makes most teachers who do not have the headteacher experience don’t satisfied with it.In the reform of teacher professional title evaluation system,not solving these contradictions in time can greatly reduce the teachers’professional satisfaction,which is not conducive to the development of teachers’ professional ability and will probably hinder the improvement of teaching quality.It is also not conducive to the construction and the management of teachers by the state.The analysis of the correlation between students’ academic achievement and headteacher’s working experience aims to provide advice for decision-making.The data collected in this study comes from Hangu No.5 Middle School in Binhai New District of Tianjin.This study aims to investigate whether the working experience of the headteacher is related to the teaching effect of the teacher,whether the length of the working experience of the headteacher has a correlation with the teacher’s teaching quality,and whether there is a correlation between the working experience of a headteacher and the students’academic achievement by using Pearson correlation in SPSS to calculate the correlation between the data.The result of the study indicates whether the working experience of a headteacher can be regarded as one of the basis for the promotion of a teacher’s professional title.The results are:(1)The students’ academic achievement is higher when the teacher is a headteacher.(2)There is no significant correlation between the working years of headteacher and the students’ academic achievement.(3)The grade of the class in which the teacher is the headteacher is significantly higher than that when the same teacher is not a headteacher.(4)There is a significant correlation between the scores of students’academic achievement and the student evaluation of teachers’ achievements.Whether the teacher is the headteacher of the class is related to the student evaluation of teachers’ achievements.So,that the teacher is a headmaster is related to students’academic achievement.The conclusion is that the working experience of a headteacher can be regarded as one of the criteria for professional promotion,but the length of headteacher’s working life is not a strong criterion to pridict teachers’ level.
