The learning environment and method of the modern students are changing gradually,with the development of mobile technology and the deep popularization of handheld devices like smart phone and tablet computer etc.Therefore,the investigator is beginning to focus on the education value of the handheld devices and how to learn by utilizing handheld devices,which have gradually became study hot topic of pedagogy.Although the handheld devices can assist the teacher and student in learning,but,it will bring some new challenges,which may including life and learning,as the same time,and may exist some problems like how to use it in a high-efficiency way in class,how to extend it to after class learning,and so on.In this study,with such a purpose that solve the existing problem during using the devices.Self-compiled questionnaire on the use of hand-held devices in junior high school students and teachers' questionnaire,to investigate the status of the use of hand-held devices in junior high school students learning.Taking 444 junior high school students in Songyang County of Zhejiang Province as the subjects,The survey results shows that:the ratio have handheld devices is relatively high among junior middle students and on using time and frequency that is seldom,less than half hour,during workday,but during weekend is generally over one hour and the frequency is highest;on using attitude,the class land 3 students more support to use them and the more positive the attitude,the longer it takes;on using purpose,most of them think they can help to study and others think they just for amusement and making friends;on using effect influence,some of the students improve study efficiency and interest but also have some bad effect and influence.After comparing and analyzing show that the purpose is clearer for class 1 and 3 students,the handheld devices have biggest influence for class 3 students,but the effect is more obvious for class 2 students,the using time is longer for men compared with women during workday;the mount of students who know about devices using attitude,purpose,effect and influence are more than they do not;there are no obvious difference on using purpose and effect,where they used the devices in class or not,that main caused by the class design and task design didn't truly combine with the feature of the mobile device.Finally,based on the above analysis results,combined with domestic and foreign research results and the current teaching environment,we put forward specific strategies to improve students' use of handheld devices.From the aspects of schools,teachers and students,it discusses how to improve the use of students' handheld devices.
