Handheld Mobile Devices To Contemporary College Students To Support Research

With the rapid development of mobile communication technology and network technology, all kinds of mobile terminal equipment emerge in endlessly. Along with the popularity of mobile phones and mobile phone network function is perfected, explosive growth trend of Wireless Internet, especially the wide application of3G, such as Smartphone, the conditions of anytime, anywhere learning becoming more and more mature, the phenomenon of college students use handheld mobile devices such as Smartphone, tablet PC, to study can be seen everywhere. The phenomenon of each college students use handheld mobile devices becoming more and more, the most typical devices are intelligent mobile phone and tablet computer. This paper mainly studied on the intelligent mobile phone and tablet computer how to support students’learning.This article starting from the present situation of college students using handheld mobile devices, mainly analyzed the problem of format of the learning resources on Smart phones and tablets in detail, discussed the learning capabilities of mobile devices software and by means of questionnaire for college students to use handheld mobile devices of learning attitude, behavior, problems, etc, to do the data analysis. Mainly do the following three aspects:First of all, combined with the characteristics of the handheld mobile device platform to defined the definition of learning resources on handheld mobile devices; through interviews and questionnaire survey, summarized the College students in the use of mobile learning common different file formats(including graphic images, audio, video and text); and from the perspective of save mobile storage, through experiment and data contrast, analyzed and concluded file format that fit on mobile device storage.Secondly, this paper researched different file format support problem for different operating system on smart phones and tablets, on the premise of not installing third-party software, practiced and summarized the situation of file format support on smart phones and tablets; and from the three stages of learning before, class, after class to analyzed software function in detail.Thirdly, this paper also analyzed the questionnaire of college students’ study, which with handheld mobile devices. Including the analysis of the investigation, the investigation object using mobile equipment hardware and software conditions and popularization situation analysis, their using mobile learning attitude and learning behavior analysis, analysis of the mobile device’s satisfaction, their problems and needs exist in the use of mobile learning, and according to the results of the survey analysis and summarizes the current problems of college students using a handheld device in our country, and puts forward countermeasures to solve these problems.
