The Study On The Competition Rules Of Duanbing In China

The State General Administration of Sport issued the “Five-Year Plan for the Development of Chinese Wushu(2016-2020)” in 2016,which defines the construction of healthy China and the development of sports as a period of strategic development.With this trend,Chinese Duanbing,served as a kind of traditional sports,had not only come to a climax,but also was highly valued by the State General Administration of Sport.In order to promote the development of Chinese Duanbing,Beijing Sports University and Wuhan Sports Institute were considered as pilot schools,followed by Xi’an Institute of Physical Education,Wuhan Institute of Physical Education,Jinan University and other institutions.All of these colleges opened the courses of Chinese Duanbing,and also joined Chinese Duanbing competitions in major martial arts competitions across the country.However,due to the influence of Chinese historical and cultural factors,as well as social factors,the Chinese Duanbing movement has not yet formed a unified competition rules system in China.Japanese Kendo and Chinese Duanbing are of the same root.But Kendo has formed a competition rule system that integrates standardization and standardization for a long time.By contrast,the situation of Chinese Duanbing troops is not very satisfactory.Therefore,it will be a long way for Chinese Duanbing to innovate the competition rules.Based on the situation talked above,with reference to Japanese Kendo competition rules system,the paper uses the methods of Literature Review、expert interviews and video analysis,as well as comparison to analyze the short loopholes of competition regulations in Chinese Duanbing,so as to explore the rules of competition suitable for the needs of the modern development of Chinese Duanbing,as well as do further standardization research.The following conclusions are summarized:(1)The number of races for Chinese Duanbing rised from one to 13 games in 2016.This phenomenon can not only reflects the importance the country attaches to the Chinese Duanbing sports project,but also shows that more and more people begin to pay attention to the Chinese Duanbing.(2)The standardization of China’s Chinese Duanbing competition rules is relatively low,and some provisions are relatively vague.Besides,some rules are not clearly defined,as well as staffing being irrational.All of these weakness shows that there is still a certain distance to match with the standardization and refinement of the competition rules.(3)The bridging degree of footwork and technical cooperation is low,which is expressed in the fact that slashing,cutting,and stabbing are commonly used in competitions.While the use of points,collapses,and lying on the ground is relatively low.In addition,the inconsistency of technique genres has also made it more difficult for Chinese Duanbing technology to standardize.(4)The progress made by Chinese Duanbing in clothing and protective gear is obvious.For example,the design style is the armor wind with Chinese characteristics.However,the protective performance of gear still needs to be improved.(5)The venues for Chinese Duanbing have been characterized and standardized,except for their popularity.Apart from that,many disputes over the weapons have been existed between the Chinese Duanbing,such as the material and shape.According to the problems mentioned above,the relative suggestions are as follows:(1)The rules of competition for the Chinese Duanbing should be standardized.In response to the country’s call for sustainable and innovative roads,maybe it is necessary to organize experts and scholars to hold seminars to organize and reform the competition rules.(2)The technology of Chinese Duanbing should innovate footwork based on the current forms so as to balance the development of technology.At the same time,in order to unify the technology of Chinese Duanbing,it is also important to seek common ground while reserving differences under the disputes of technical genres.(3)Chinese Duanbing still needs to research the clothing safety equipment and the venues so that the Chinese Duanbing can receive double-level protection in terms of visibility and protection.(4)It is necessary for government to give full play to its macro-control functions and strengthen media propaganda.The trial of Chinese Duanbing will still be carried out,so as to cultivate reserve talents.On this basis,the China Alliance for the formation of short arms can be established to facilitate the timely follow-up of new policies and guidelines for the development of Chinese Duanbing.
