With the increasing demand of fitness groups for consumer coaches,this requires improving the competency requirements of fitness coaches so as to better meet the needs of fitness consumers.However,at present,there is not a standard evaluation system for fitness coaching competency,which leads to problems such as lack of professionalism and unclear duties of fitness coaches.This shows that in the fitness industry,it is necessary to build a comprehensive and comprehensive fitness coaching competency evaluation system.It is an urgent problem to be solved.This paper aims to provide a theoretical basis for the selection and training of elite fitness instructors in the fitness industry.In order to improve industry standards,improve bad phenomena in the industry,and provide reference standards for the construction of a fitness coach team,the development of the fitness industry will be promoted.At present,there are few researches on fitness coaches at home and abroad,and most of them are only directed studies,lacking of data basis.And the trainer as the research object,this paper based on the competency theory,by using the literature research and text analysis,focus group interview and behavioral event interview method,preliminary trainer triple competency indicators framework.And distribution of two rounds of questionnaire(a total of 35 copies of questionnaires,33 effective questionnaires were taken back),using Delphi method,combined with relevant statistical data analysis and processing,after several rounds of screening indicators,finally construct the trainer competency evaluation system,and analyses the importance of the three levels of competency indicators research.The conclusion of this paper is as follows:Through the analysis of relevant statistical indicators,ie,the ratio(Ki),the grade(Si),the weighted average(Mi),and the coefficient of variation(CVi),we have reached the following conclusions:1.The fitness evaluation system for fitness coaches based on the Delphi method includes three indicators,totaling 69.The first-level indicators are four,including:professional knowledge,professional ability,professional image,and professional ethics.There are 12 secondary indicators,including: theoretical knowledge,professional knowledge,practical knowledge,and other indicators.The third-level indicators are 53,including sports anatomy,sports training,sports biomechanics,exercise physiology and other indicators.2.The most important indicator in the first-level indicators is professional ethics.3.The most important indicators in the secondary indicators are professional knowledge,marketing ability,physical fitness,and occupational discipline.4.The most important indexes in the third-level indicators are sports training,scientific fitness program development and implementation,sports injury management,language expression ability,ability to communicate with members,customers’ worry-solving abilities,body shape,and professionalism.,Honest and trustworthy,Respect and protect the privacy of members,and maintain a proper relationship with members.Therefore,we can train and assess the fitness instructor based on the fitness evaluation system,and then improve the fitness level of the fitness instructor and strengthen the construction of the fitness instructor team.
