Guangdong College Basketball League(GUBA)is a traditional sports event in Guangdong province.Since 2001,it has been held for the first time since 2001,and has been successfully held for the sixteen time.The teams are distributed in all parts of the province,and there are more than 170 teams participating.After more than 10 years of development,not only has enriched the amateur life of college students,but also the competitive level of the team has been significantly improved,which has led to the development of campus basketball in Guangdong.As everyone knows,the coach is an important part of the team,the development of a good coach can drive a team,and a good coach can promote the development of the whole group of sports,so that plays an important role in the development of basketball coaches.In this paper,in the sixteenth Guangdong province college basketball coaches(hereinafter referred to as coaches)as the research object,through the literature,expert interviews,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics,logical analysis,current situation of coaches development,factors affecting the development of coaches,coaches and development strategy.The following conclusions are drawn:1.College Basketball Coaches in Guangdong province is mainly served by the school sports teacher,the young males,age structure is younger trend;the higher level of educational background and professional titles;but the coaches lack of experience in coaching junior,the experience in the accumulation stage.2.The colleges and universities in Guangdong province are lacking in the management of coaches.The selection of coaches by appointment and appointment,coaches are mostly leaders appointed directly or through their posts,many are part-time,part-time coaches with high level team coaches too little;low level of construction,most of the team is equipped with only one coach member;coaches training system is not perfect,although most of the coaches are involved in the training,but the training unit is not authoritative,too little training times and training quality is not high.3.The coaches of colleges and universities in Guangdong province have lack of management team.Most coaches can formulate the corresponding team management system,but the formulation is not perfect enough,focusing on the formulation of training and competition system,and not attach much importance to the formulation of the system of learning and life.4.Guangdong coaches training team ability to improve.In the selection of athletes,coaches to develop training programs and training methods more scientific,diversified,in physical training,master skills and tactics means on the basis of gradually attention to psychology and intelligence and recovery training means training;but the lack of long-term planning,the number of weekly training less and each training time is not enough,and do not pay enough attention to the training summary.5.The coaches' ability to command the competition needs to be improved.The survey shows that more coaches are short of pre competition command,and little is known about their opponents before the competition,but they are not sufficiently analyzed,while the ability of on-the-spot command and post game summary and relaxation is relatively mature.6.The depth and breadth of the research activities of Basketball Coaches in Guangdong colleges and universities need to be improved.College coaches in Guangdong province have a good scientific research situation.They have published research papers and participated in the research of training contents,methods and means.Especially,the topics and writings are rather weak.Although a few coaches have subjects and publications,their proportion is very small.The main difficulties that coaches meet in scientific research are the shortage of scientific research funds,many teaching tasks,heavy training tasks,and the lack of scientific research equipment.7.The factors that influence the development of coaches in Guangdong College Basketball League are: school factor,teaching ability factor,development innovation factor,student factor and policy factor.Among them,the contribution rate of school factor ranks first,which shows that school factors have the greatest impact on the development of coaches.
