Education shapes the experience transmission for human society,in possession of specific purpose.There is no such education with no aims.Similarly,the courses of subjects as the basic component of education is also purposeful,that is,the curriculum objective.Playing a role of hypogyny conception in educational purpose,the curriculum objective refers to the expected performance of students achieving and the expected results of them presenting after a course ended.It is both the starting point and destination of the curriculum and instruction.Through researches on the curriculum objective of the geography courses in years of 1986,1996,2003 and 2017,this article put a conclusion on the reform and characteristics of the curriculum objective in high-school geography courses since reform and opening-up,including the background of the reform that is reforming background,the main content in the curriculum objective(teaching purpose)of geography courses,and the graphic construction of the curriculum objective.With graphic presentation of the curriculum objective in mathematical method,the structure and interrelationships of the curriculum objective in geography courses were better analyzed.Meanwhile,the curriculum objective in geography courses were better mastered through analysis on the teaching contents,practical cases and test questions under the curriculum objective,so as to better implement the curriculum objective.It has found in researches that the objectives of geography curriculum in high school in China showed a spiral improvement since reform and opening-up.First of all,the structure of the curriculum objective was developed from one dimension to multiple dimensions.The knowledge structure has been transformed to a structure integrated of knowledge and skills,and then the three-dimensional objectives is enhanced so as to extend to the core accomplishment of the geography curriculum.Each reform embodies the advancement of educational concepts and the constant improvement in curriculum objective.The second improvement occurred in the objective body,that is the transformation has shifted from “the teaches as the primary body” and “the subjects as the primary body” to “the students as the primary body.” The dominant role of the students was emphasized more,while the discipline base of the geography course was mainly highlighted in the periods of “double bases” and “three-dimensional objectives.” Students are the media of embodying the subject value of geography.The curriculum objective under core accomplishment regards the geography curriculum as the tool and measures for the student development,cultivating the capabilities and character of the students.In objective content,it has attached equal importance to the cultivation on geographic knowledge,geographic skills,geographic ability and geographic accomplishment,rather than original single cultivation of geographic knowledge.constantly embodying the value of the geography curriculum,as well as combining with the current affairs and social development.The curriculum objective is also embodied by in-class teaching,test assessment,and teaching contents.The teaching contents follows the physical and mental development of the students,the in-class teaching tightly attaches to the curriculum objective,and the test assessment constantly indicates diversified characteristics.This article conducted comparative researches on the objective of geography curriculum in high schools since reform and opening-up,and provided references and basis for the effective implementation of geography teaching under core accomplishment,to in-depth understand the objective of geography curriculum and master the new orientation of the reform in geography curriculum.However,there is still a certain deficiency in these researches.Thus,it requires an emphasis on the research of the transformation from three-dimensional objectives to geographic core accomplishment and the accurate implementation of the geographic core accomplishment.The specific strategy of the core accomplishment to the implementation of the in-class teaching of geography curriculum requires a further elaboration.
