Not accomplished in a single day,the teacher professional development is a continuous process from post-working cultivation to post-working training.Nowadays,the misconduct of teachers has been constantly seen from media reports.The teacherprofessionalism is one of the most important elements of the professional quality,which has been paid little attention to by the academic field.As the main force of future teachers,the education teacher professionalism for normal students will directly affect the overall quality of teacher group.Therefore,it is very of vital importance to carry out the research on teacher professionalism cultivation education of normal college students.On the basis of comprehensive analysis of the teacherprofessionalism from both domestic and abroad,this study took the normal students from Yunnan as the research object and adopted a method combining qualitative and quantitative research.Thisstudy investigated the cognitive characteristics and the cultivation education implementation status of the normal school students’ teacher professionalism in Yunnan province.It has explored the existing problems in order to put forward some targeted educational suggestions and provide reference for enhancing normal students’ teacher professionalism cognition.The results of research are mainly as following aspects:First,through the methods of literature review,open questionnaire and expert interviews,we discussed the theoretical structure of teacher professionalism.teacher professionalism isa multi-dimensional personality that includes profession identification,dedication professionalism,professional cooperationand professional pursuit.A questionnaire about normal students’ teacher professional professionalism cultivation education in Yunnan Provincewas made to meet the investigation requirements as a measurement tool for the study.Secondly,an investigation with questionnaires for 408 normal students in Yunnan Province was conducted to analyze the general characteristics of normal students’ teacher professionalism and difference characteristics in their demographic variables(ie gender,birth place,grade,school,degree,parents’ occupation,family economic status and first choice major).The results showed that the overall cognitive status of normal students in Yunnan Province was poor,and there were significant differences in the demographic variables.Thirdly,we investigated the overall situation of the teacher professionalism cultivation educationof normal college students in Yunnan Provincefrom the aspects of target,content,method,teachers’ quality and evaluation.The results showed that the overall situation still waits to be improved.Fourthly,in-depth interviews and investigations were conducted to better understand the cognitive characteristics and their current education situationof teacher professionalism of normal students in Yunnan Province.The interview results were consistent with that of the previous investigation,forming a cross-examination of the objectivity of the study.Fifthly,on the basis of professional development stage theory of teachers,the theory of teacher’s quality structure and the theory of subjective moral education mode,discussed the targeted education recommendations which based on the findings.That is,teaching around the courses to build system platform for training;enriching the education methods to promote the cultivation effect;developing extracurricular activities to improve the cultivation implementation and improving teacher quality to create good examples;improving the professional identity of normal students;constructing the correct professional values and playing the subjectivity of education.This study provides direction and focus basis for further training of normal school students’ professional quality,so that their teacher professional professionalism cultivation education is more targeted and purposeful.
