With the popularity of smart devices and the rapid development of network technology,people's lifestyles and learning styles have entered the era of mobile intelligence.They are more willing to use mobile smart devices to receive simple,convenient and visual learning resources anytime and anywhere to acquire new knowledge.The continuous integration of information technology and subject teaching has not only brought new challenges to traditional education,but also injected new vitality into it.It has promoted the innovation and efficient development of every factor in traditional teaching.Meanwhile,new forms of learning,such as M-Learning,blended learning and personalized learning,have become an important feature of education development.In this context,micro-lecture,a course resource with video as a carrier,a minute as a unit,and highly visual content,is sweeping our traditional classroom.Micro-lecture is a learning resource that can be presented by visualizing a knowledge point in a short time.It is convenient for diversified communication and efficient learning.However,high school biology is a subject with a lot of micro knowledge.Compared with the traditional teaching in which knowledge points are filled with irrigation,it is incomparable to use micro-lecture to design and apply the explanation of knowledge points visually.How to effectively combine micro-class with biology curriculum in senior high school,and what design method can be adopted to enable teachers to have the method to follow,constantly stimulate and maintain learners' learning motivation,and promote their efficient learning has become the focus of this research.In this paper,the concept and characteristics of micro-lecture are described in detail,and the concept of ARCS motivation model and its core motivation strategies are analyzed.Secondly,combining ARCS motivation model with micro-lecture and according to the characteristics of senior high school biology curriculum,the design mode of high school biology micro-lesson based on ARCS motivation model is designed from three aspects: demand analysis,process design and evaluation feedback.And summarizes its design template.Finally,taking the chapter of "meiotic division" as an example,this paper explores the application effectiveness of high school biology micro-lecture based on ARCS motivation model in teaching,to provide a new way for micro-lecture designers to design ideas and methods.
