Research On Satisfaction Degree Of International Students With Education Management In Chinese Universities

With the futher development of reform and opening to the outside world and the rapid increase in overall national strength,the scale of overseas students has been expanding.How to effectively manage the foreign students has become an urgent issue for all universities and colleges.Internationalization has exacerbated competiton among universities,the satisfaction of student plays a key role in the success of a university.Through this study,we can understand and master the situation of the education management of international students.It also can provide data support and reference suggestions of improving the level of education management of universities in our country,especially in the central and western regions.Based on the theory of higher education internationalization and educational evaluation,this paper uses questionnaires and structured interviews to study international students from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.The survey and interviews were started from the following four dimensions: campus environment and living facilities,teaching management,administration and logistics,and social life in China.Then,the author used SPSS 23.0 to analyze the basic situation of international students by descriptive statistics.The main influencing factors of education management satisfaction were further studied through correlation analysis and multiple regression equations.According to the relevant data statistics and interview analysis,the satisfaction score of international students is 3.89,which is between “Indifferent” and “Basically satisfied”,and close to “Basically satisfied”.The four dimensions of satisfaction rank from high to low are social life,teaching management,administration and logistics,campus environment and facilities.The results show that this university has a high satisfaction with education management of international student,but there are also some deficiencies,such as low library utilization rate,urgent need for teaching management,insufficientattention to psychological consulting,and weak attractiveness of extracurricular activities.Finally,the author put forward specific suggestions and countermeasures on the main factors affecting the satisfaction of international students' education management reflected in the questionnaire survey and interview analysis,and at the end of the paper,it was carried out on how to improve the degree of students' education management satisfaction in China.The following three points were put forward: balance the relationship between enrollment scale growth and quality assessment,establish effective teaching quality assessment and supervision system for international students,and conduct nationwide student satisfaction survey in a large-scale and local university.
