This research hopes to provide the reader with a glimpse into Massive Open Online Courses Technologies as well as the history of Chang'an University;more specifically, the University's various schools. It emphasizes on the need for Chang'an University to adapt to using Massive Open Online Courses(MOOCs).The primary data of this research has been obtained from MOOCs related articles on the Internet. We also sought to achieve the following objectives: a.validate that a positively steady increase in the International students' enrolment leads to the demand of more courses and MOOCs eventually aiding to meet this demand;b.assess whether the students' easily adapting to using MOOCs is based on their daily use of the internet tools to perform their course work;and c.to investigate what aspect of the internet,e.g.“how to do” videos on you tube, research websites etc.that International Students use in doing their assignments and project work.A simple research model was designed to demonstrate a formula that projects the future growth rate of the students' population;as well as use linear regression analysis technique and Pearson co-relation to determine which of the above named constructs had the most significant effect on actualizing MOOCs in Chang'an University. The research primarily involved a survey of 240 students of which there were 215 actual respondents.By using close ended questions in the questionnaires, and descriptive and inferential statistics tools such as Statistical Product and Service Solutions(SPSS v.20)and Microsoft Excel Analysis Tools,to show the co-relation between the variables suggested,it was determined that 61% of the International students at Chang'an University are familiar with online learning. This meant that it will be easy for the students to adapt to using MOOCs.At the same time, the faculty structure seemed feasible enough to adapt to MOOCs.It is the hope of the researcher that this research would help change the way other future scholars will look at MOOCs and determine a suitable strategic model for MOOCs in any learning institution. The researcher believes that if this study is actually applied according to the results obtained,it will achieve a lot of benefits for the university by promotion and marketing a high quality of learning and teaching facilities to regionally and internationally also to raise the ranking of the university compared to international universities by increasing the number of foreign students in the university.
