Research On The Development Of Sports Tourism Resources And Operation Model Of Ethnic Minority

With the rapid growth of domestic tourism,sports tourism has become one option of the public entertainment.As sports industry get more and more combined with tourism sector,this model of integration is being utilized on a larger scale,and tourism spots all over the world has added diverse elements of spectator sports,making sports tourism increasingly impressive and vivid in public consumption.Currently,domestic sports tourism is in a vital stage of growth.The newly emerged sports tourism industry is growing on a fast track as one of the “New Normal” in the public tourism sector.In 2014,the State Council released the Guidance on the Growth of Sports Industry and Sports Consumption,in which it explicitly put forward the basic principle of “promoting the integration between sports industry and other industries” in an effort to boost the development of sports industry.As an essential branch in the overall sports industry,the sports of minor ethnic groups also play an important role in the general sports tourism.On the one hand,different types of minority sports are being recommended and pursued by the general public;on the other hand,the resources exploitation and tourism resources and the operation of the business model in their minority sports tourism industry has become an important subject and study of sports tourism.This subject research is important to the integration of minority sports industry into entire tourism sector.It is also essential to the promotion of the entire sports tourism industry.This research paper focuses on the Li & Miao Minority Cultural Tourism Spots in Betelnut Valley,Hainan Province.Through the analysis of the resources exploitation and business model in minority traditional sports tourism industry,this paper explores the existing problems in the resources exploitation and business model of some sports sectors in an effort to combine sports with other industries.Using several methods such as literature review,field survey,interview and logic analysis,this paper analyzes from several perspectives including sports study,anthropology and culture,ethnic traditional sports,tourism exploitation and management.By discovering the forming and development of Li and Miao ethnic groups and analyzing the efforts of the Tourism Spots to exploit sports and cultural resources,this paper analyzed the role of minority traditional sports in the sports tourism in this area,as well as their contribution to the passing of minority culture and its social benefits.Based on this,this paper then proposes some viable options to improve the operation of minority sports industry to achieve sustained results.It is believed that these suggestions will contribute its own share to the spreading of Liao and Miao ethnic culture and the growth of the traditional national sports industry.
