Modeling teaching is a kind of teaching method which has been popular in recent years. The teaching model has many advantages. From the perspective of modeling theory,to explore the implementation of modeling in science teaching of middle school, analysis of modeling process chemistry textbooks in high school, which can not only lay a theoretical foundation for including modeling chemistry teaching material in the middle school and provide some suggestions to the teaching materials, but also can enrich the relevant research and analysis of modeling process in the textbook. This research mainly takes Professor Jiang Yonggui's new construction of "four sections of eight ring" modeling process(operating table)as research tools, analyzing "mass conservation" model in nine versions of the middle school chemistry textbook, and scoring part of the modeling process in stages(not including model build links).According to the comparative analysis of the obtained data and teaching content, the results of the study showed that most textbooks do not have a complete modeling process with the model establishment and model movement account for most part of the material content, and the lack of modeling value in the textbook is most serious, the missing of scientific prediction in the model selection that can arouse students' cognitive conflict and learning interest is even more serious. That is to say, most of the textbooks currently pay much attention to knowledge content, knowledge application and knowledge theory, but they don't pay much attention to students' interest in learning, emotional education and the cultivation of students' scientific literacy. The main conclusions are listed as follows:(1)the modeling course of middle school chemistry textbooks is not perfect.(2)the chemistry teaching material of middle school is concentrated on knowledge and application, and the cultivation of the quality of modeling is ignored.(3)the different versions of middle school chemistry textbooks vary from each other in the specific presentation of each link in the modeling process. The research mainly consists of six parts: first, describing the background, research and significance;second, making a literature review about modeling process and modeling of scientific and middle school chemistry;third, the specific research methods are introduced, including the main research object, evaluation criteria and the research process of three modules which contains evaluation standards according to Professor Jiang's "four order eight" operational definition and formulation;fourth, scoring the various versions of teaching materials in accordance with the evaluation standards in the third chapter making an analysis and discussion according to “the four phase of the eight link "and presenting a summary of the previous analysis;Fifth, presenting the research results and making several suggestions to the compilation of middle school chemistry textbooks according to previous results;Sixth, trying to make a new compilation of the "law of conservation of mass" in middle school chemistry textbooks, and describing the basis for the new compilation. At the end of the article, the following suggestions on the compilation of middle school chemistry textbooks are put forward.1.improve the course of the modeling in teaching materials.2.the content of the teaching material should focus on the cultivation of the students' quality of modeling.3.the proportion of each link in the course of modeling is reasonable.4.the teaching material content of the selected part of the model can stimulate the students' learning desire to a certain extent.5.The content of the textbook is arranged in a logical way which is most consistent with the actual cognitive level of the students to each link of the process of modeling.
