Studying knowledge through model building is one of the effective measures in physics learning and has drawn more and more attention.Textbook is an important tool in physics teaching.If we can present a complete modeling process in textbook,it will help to put modeling teaching into practice teaching and help students to further understand the model and apply the model.In this paper,the content analysis method is mainly used in this study,and 10 different versions of junior high school physics textbooks are taken as research objects.The textbooks of "Gravity","Newton's First Law","Balance of Two Powers","Friction" and " Pressure " five classes involved in the modeling.And according to the elements of modeling process(model development,model evaluation,model application,model reconstruction)analyzes the completeness of different versions of textbooks in these five models.The analysis method of this paper is based on the "fourth-order eight-ring" modeling process proposed by other scholars as the analytical standard.Based on this standard,the specific standards of the above five models are established,so as to explore whether the textbook has the elements of the modeling process,and the common problems that textbooks exist in the process of modeling and the differences existing in different textbooks when modeling.After analyzing the statistical data,we found that most of the textbooks are not complete enough when present the modeling process.Among them,the modeling valid and modeling value phase are the most missing.Under the standard score of 2,the average scores of the modeling process of the 10 versions of the textbook research model in these two phases are only 0.36 and 0.50.Secondly,Model selection,model near-migration stage is not ideal,the average is divided into 0.96 and 0.95;and the model background and model selection stage is better.On this basis,the paper puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the selection of model,emphasize model effectiveness,pay attention to the value of modeling,and implement model textbook migration.
