“The problems of the world can begin with body.Body is the intermediary for man to know the word.The body experience of students is a intermediary for students to move towards maturity and cognitive development.Body discipline is the main source of body experience of students.Body discipline is a neutral act,so we can only make valuable judgments basing on the meaning of “who discipline”,“why discipline”,“how to discipline”and “what’s the effect of discipline”.Reasonable body discipline has important educational significance on the growth of students.Unreasonable body discipline damages students’ physical and mental development and violates the true meaning of education.This research adopts qualitative research method.Through participating in and observing the daily life of teachers and students,this research records the life state of teachers and students.This research has done a lot of interviews on teachers and students.From the perspective of Physical Sociology and Physical Phenomenology,this research analyses the technique and means of body discipline for students,and this research records the resistance of students for body discipline.Last,based on the standpoint of pedagogy,the research puts forward some feasible measures for students’ body discipline from two aspects.First is for school administrators.(1)School administrators should stand for the students’ standpoint and put the development of students’ physical and mental health in the primary position.In a word,school administrator should have great concern for the students’ body experience when making policies.(2)Schools administrators should insist on“situational” management.The students’ physical experience should be regarded as the starting point of school management.And school administrators should pay attention to the quality of physical experience brought to students by management measures.Second is for teachers.(1)As for class,teachers should create a vibrant,inclusive and open teaching environment.A good class should be the one that respectsstudents’ life experience and integrates students’ physical experience into class.(2)As for class management,teachers should use non-violent communication to replace unreasonable “body” discipline.Teachers should stand for “humanity is good”,safeguard the students’ right of utterance and create an atmosphere of mutual and equal communication between teachers and students.
