An Narrative Study Of The Professional Development Of Mr T In W Middle School

The professional development of teachers is the first element of educational reform.The improvement of teachers’ accomplishments and the development of professional skills are of great importance to educational reform,and have profound impact on the growth of students.Each teacher has a different way and a diverse level of professional development.Among many ordinary teachers,Mr T from W Middle School has an outstanding professional development.Therefore,this paper does a narrative research on Mr T in order to set an example for other teachers.It is found that Mr T’ experience is representative--from passion to confusion to professional growth.And Mr T’ tireless spirit of learning and practice motivates other teachers a lot.Through the research,this paper makes clear the basic process and theory of teachers’ professional development,summarizes the requirements of teachers’ professional development,and puts forward some effective ways of teachers’ professional development and some specific management practices.This research is very significant to promote teachers’ professional capabilities.
