The convening of the National Education Conference reflects the great importance attached by the Party Central Committee and the State Council to the work of basic education.The foundation of national rejuvenation lies in education,and the key of education lies in teachers.Class is the basic unit of school education and teaching.The class teacher is responsible for ideological and moral education and leading the healthy growth of students.The improvement of the work level of the teacher in charge of a class will not only have a positive impact on the students' learning,but also lay a solid foundation for their growth and success,and will greatly improve the overall work level of the school.The professional development of the class teacher needs to start from the practice and ability of the work of the class teacher,and build a personalized growth platform for the class teacher in different stages of development,establish a comprehensive,hierarchical,scientific and reasonable professional development system for class teachers.Based on this,combined with the theory of teacher development stage,this paper divides the class teacher into four stages: novice class teacher,growing class teacher,backbone class teacher and expert class teacher,and makes investigation and Research on the professional development status of the class teacher by classification.In this paper,literature research,investigation and interview methods are used.Taking five middle schools of Y Middle School Collaboration Team in Liaoyang as an example,a questionnaire survey is carried out on their class teachers,in-depth interviews are conducted with their moral leaders and some class teachers,and SPSS is used for data analysis,mainly using descriptive statistical analysis,difference analysis and other analysis methods,to study the professional development status and needs of the class teacher in each development stage,and find the problems in the professional development status of the class teacher.Through investigation and analysis,it is found that the education idea of the class teacher needs to be renewed,the teacher's morality needs to be strengthened,the professional knowledge reserve of the class teacher is insufficient,theprofessional ability of the class teacher is deficient,and the self-development consciousness of the class teacher is not strong.In view of the above problems,the following suggestions are put forward: at the conceptual level,we should establish the concept of professional development of the class teacher,attach importance to the professional development of the class teacher,strengthen guidance,and establish the concept of all-round development of people.At the government and school level,first,we should establish a characteristic training system for class teachers;second,we should improve the long-term mechanism for the construction of teachers' morality and style;third,we should enhance the effectiveness of class teacher training;fourth,we should establish a scientific and fair assessment and incentive mechanism;fifth,we should reasonably define the task of class leaders.For the class teacher himself,we should improve the ability of scientific research innovation and learning reflection.
