A Study On Education On The Internet Social Morality Of Contemporary College Students

As the internet is widespread all over the globe,people's living space is being divided into offline and online,which represents the real-life society and online society.In addition,the internet is accounting for a larger portion than before and playing a more and more important role in daily life.Accompanied with the rapid development,frequent updating and various kinds of content of the internet,there emerged some kind of new moral issues which held a profound impact on net-citizen's physical and mental health.College students,as the main body of net-citizens combined with the immature thoughts and values,are deeply influenced by the internet.Then,it is extremely important to carry out the internet morality education for them.Therefore,how to make good use of the internet and its positive impacts on people has become an important theme of study.The proposal of the internet social morality would help solving the problem of losing morality online and create a harmonious online environment.This study launched discussions from the perspective of “social morality”,which is different from the "private morality",emphasizing on the social attributes of morality,as such discussions are focusing on the national and social benefits and guiding the internet social morality,and the consciousness and behaviors online.This study is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly clarified the concepts of social morality.It explained the relationships between social morality and the internet social morality,social morality,morality and private morality,and elaborated the connotation of the education on social morality.The second chapter mainly illustrated the function,meaning and value of the education on social morality.The third chapter studied the internet social morality from the perspective of theories including Marxism,ethics,communication,etc.,trying to analyze profoundly the causes of losing morality online theoretically.The fourth chapter analyzed some typical phenomena and causes of losing morality online and the lack of the education on internet social morality.The fifth chapter proposed the countermeasures for carrying out the education on internet social morality,discussing comprehensively on the ways of carrying out the education on internet social morality towards college students.The specific countermeasures are as the followings: putting the perspective of morality of Maxim as the guidance of practice,improving the cultivation of the consciousness of internet social morality,creating high quality mass medias,and intensifying the education on thoughts and values of college students,etc.
