The connotation of "five identities" is rich and profound,which reflects the fundamental requirements of the socialist core value system completely and comprehensively."Five identities" education is of great theoretical and practical significance to further consolidate the ideological guidance status of Marxism,maintain national unity,firm common ideals and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.As the cradle of cultivating talents,colleges and universities should take up the role in strengthening the "Five identities" education.The minority university students are the main force in the future development of the national region.Their ideological and political consciousness is right and the stability and prosperity of the national region.At present,we must clearly understand the necessity of carrying out "five identities" education for minority college students,grasp the contemporary status of "five identities" education and analyze its causes in detail.Marxism on the theory of Man's all-round development,the theory of socialist core value system,the Chinese Communist Party's national theory and national Policy,the latest theoretical achievement of Marxism in China,is the theoretical basis for carrying out the ideological and political education of minority college students and provides theoretical basis and theoretic guidance for this thesis from different perspectives.Based on the relationship between the "five identities" education and the ideological and political education of minority college students,this paper studies the status qua of "five identities" of minority college students in some universities in Guizhou,based on the present situation of ideological and political education of minority college students,and combined with the empirical data and relevant research materials,Grasp the ideological and political characteristics and development trend ofminority college students.Further consider the factors that affect the ideological and political ideas of minority college students and explore the functional principles and possible practical ways to carry out "five identities" education.The paper finds that "five identities" education of minority college students in Guizhou University is remarkable,but there are some deficiencies such as insufficient educational content,lack of clear educational objectives and diversity of educational forms.There are unique factors,family factors,school factors and social factors that affect the "five identities" education for minority college students.In order to lead the ideological and political education of minority university students with "five identities",we should follow the principle of directionality,difference and subjectivity,and make full use of the four systems,such as system guarantee,curriculum guidance,culture nourishment and practice education,and bring together the powerful force of "five identities".
