“ Chinese students' development of key competencies ” was formally promulgated in September 2016.The fine arts discipline also extracted five key competencies of the discipline: image reading,artistic expression,aesthetic judgment,creative practice,and cultural understanding.The revision of the high school art curriculum standard also closely focuses on these five aspects and regards them as the primary goals of the curriculum.The revolution of big data information has already put people in the era of “image reading”,and the new round of fine arts curriculum reform cannot achieve the desired effect if bypassing the visual culture.Therefore,it is particularly important to explore the internal relationship between visual culture,key competencies,and art appreciation teaching at the stage of fine arts education in high school.Based on the dual context of visual culture and key competencies,this thesis studies the art appreciation module of fine arts curriculum in the ordinary high school,in order to provide a new perspective on the teaching of art appreciation.The innovations of this research: First of all,though key competencies has set off an upsurge of research in the education academia,there is little research on the teaching practice of the art appreciation module in high school,so this thesis has a certain forward-looking nature;furthermore,this thesis puts art appreciation teaching in a more systematic perspective through sorting out and analyzing related references,in order to provide useful references for the first-line teachers to understand the idea of the new curriculum reform;finally,this research explores the implementation of art appreciation teaching based on key competencies,through specific teaching cases.This thesis mainly includes five parts: The first part is the introduction,discussing the background,purpose and significance of the topic selection,the research situation at home and abroad,and expounding the ideas and methods of this research;the second part discusses the current curriculum standards and analyses the current situation of art appreciation teaching in high school.The third part focuses on the internal relations among visual culture,key competencies and art appreciation,summarizing the influence and changes brought by them,and discussing new requirements for the art teachers adapting to the new curriculum reform situation.The fourth part is the study of the teaching practice of art appreciation in high school.The author designed the unit teaching with the theme of “war” as an example,and conducted teaching experiments.Finally,it concludes with the conclusion of the dissertation and the research prospects.
