Ministry of Education issued the ? Compulsory education biology curriculum standard(2011 edition)?in 2011.The most important change is increases 50 important concepts in the 10 topics of the course content.The change provides the directional guidance to build the efficient biology class.For the requirements of new curriculum reform,the concept teaching research has become one of the hot spots of education in all countries.The concept teaching is organize teaching activities around the important concept,and the terminology itself is a symbol that represents the important concept,so accurately explain terminology is the basics of conducting concept teaching.Starting from the basic work of concept teaching,the paper using the literature,questionnaire,comparison and interview research methods,select and sort out the basic terminologies from biology textbook of junior high school and attached with Chinese name and explanation.According to the principle of new curriculum standard,comparative analysis and accuracy,this paper select and sort out 130 basic terminologies around the important concept and attach with the Chinese name and explanation.In addition,the 61 terminologies,which collected by students were explained briefly and attached with Chinese name.This paper also designed a teaching case that reflect concept teaching deeply and analyzed the practicability of the terminology explanation.Finally,the paper discusses the issue of non-standard terminologies,English named terminologies and incomplete explanation of terminologies in Mongolian textbooks and put forward suggestions on how to avoid and modify them.When conducting concept teaching activities,teachers should depend on actual situation of students and course content,choose the right content within the scope of important concept.In addition,concept teaching is not an independent teaching method,the teachers should according to the course content combine concept teaching with other teaching method flexibly.
