Research On The Role Dilemma Of Medical Social Workers In Hospice Care Services

Medical social work in the hospice care more and more attention,as a medical social worker stationed in the hospital hospice care team,its role is gradually prominent.However,in the practice of the hospice care service,due to many subjective and objective factors,there is a certain gap between the medical social worker and the ideal role,the role of initiative is not strong.The plight of the roles of medical social workers will affect the interventional effect of medical social work in hospice services to a greater extent therefore,must pay attention to the role dilemma,forming factors clear role predicament,to find effective methods to break the role dilemma,promote medical social work in the development of hospice care.On the basis of social role theory and the role of distance theory,through participatory observation and in-depth interviews and analysis of medical social workers in hospice care in the role of practice present situation,existing problems and future road.Firstly,according to the role of social work,looking forward to the relevant policies and the content of the interview to tease out the ideal role of hospice care in medical social workers,and then combined with the practice and interview summed up the role practice content,practice and ideal role role next to do comparative analysis of the gap and in-depth exploration.Study of the reasons,finally put forward relevant suggestions to crack the plight of the role.The study found that the ideal role of medical social workers should be in the hospice care service in consultation with the coordinator,including psychological care and supporters,resource integration research and information feedback,and advocates.In the process of practice in the role,the role of medical social workers distance is mainly embodied in role ambiguity,lack of the role and the role of initiative three weak role predicament.After the interview analysis and Reflection on the practice andthe combination of the role dilemma cause negative influence of unknown and post professional social workers with inadequate and public opinion,lack of self cognition and low recognition of professional medical social workers including service object of suspicion and escape,the hospice team members with weak support and hospice institutions,most After has put forward some proposals on the role dilemma crack,encourage medical social workers fled the plight of the roles of vortex.
