Death is the ultimate mystery of life. There is a saying in China:"Life and death have a life, wealth is in the sky",reflecting people's helplessness to death."One hundred years old" and "Shouyuan have done" represent the natural disappearance and end of life. But in reality, how many people have died in their sleep in their sleep? When a person's life reaches the end,the state of physical decline will always make the people around him heartbreaking. When the patient's condition deteriorates, the patient and the family can sense that the patient's life will end in a limited future, and the heart is full of inexplicable fear. When the death is coming, what is the patient's mood? How should family members face it?Hospice care is a tranquil service that connects life and death:bringing soothing comfort to patients and their families before the end of the cancer patient's life.In the identity of the medical social interns of the Cancer Hospital, the author went deep into the cancer patient group and used interviews and questionnaires to understand and analyze the urgent needs of patients with cancer and their families.Interviews and questionnaires showed that cancer patients and their families are in urgent need. The problems solved are mainly reflected in the following aspects:(1)They are helpless and anxious in the face of cancer pain, and tremendous mental stress affects their daily lives.(2)Panic about cancer, fear of the arrival of death, can not rationally treat death.(3)The self-efficacy is low due to the influence of illness and emotion.Based on the current real needs of cancer patients and their families and the particularity of patients with cancer at the end of the cancer, the author used group work methods, targeted design and carried out group activities.First, assist the cancer patients to start from the stage of preparation for death, focusing on the psychological needs of patients and their families, providing them with emotional counseling and relieving mental stress.Secondly, the activities of the tranquil tea house were carried out,and the cognitive behavior theory was used to change the misconceptions of patients and their families about death and to change their negative perceptions. Then, through the group activities of "Five Wishes",let the team members share their mentality and experience in the face of difficulties, and promote the self-understanding and self-acceptance of the team members, thus helping them to establish a rational belief in the face of death, and will cherish life,Grasp the current concept of internalization and practice in real life. Finally, under the guidance of social support theory and ecosystem theory, social workers help patients and their families establish social support networks, link and integrate social resources, guide group members to help themselves and help each other to improve their mentality and quality of life, and enhance their self-worth..After the work of the group, the whole group service process is evaluated according to the group activity record and the post-event interview. The evaluation results show that the social workers use the group work methods to actively listen, encourage guidance, summarize and clarify skills and methods, and The effective communication and communication of the client can effectively alleviate the mental stress of the cancer patients and their families, help the patients to face the death rationally and give them emotional support. The group work method involved in the end-stage care of patients with cancer is operability and the effect is more significant.
