Research On The Application Of Eps Social Work Intervention Model In The Construction Of Old Aged Volunteer Service Ability

With the overall development of society and economy,China has entered an age of aging.According to data from the China Ageing Research Center,in 2015,the population aged 60 and over in China was 212.42 million,which was 15.5% of the total population,which was 0.6 percentage points higher than 2013,of which the proportion of the population aged 65 and over reached 10.1.%.It can be seen that the aging population in China has a significant increase.The accompanying problems of the elderly make the country and society face enormous challenges.The "13th FiveYear Plan" period is the final stage of China's complete completion of a well-off society,and it is also an important stage in the reform and development of China's aging undertakings and the construction of an old-age pension system.China's aging industry is moving toward a policy of “positive aging”.The favorable policy environment has a very important influence on exploring the development of volunteering services for the elderly and improving the sense of social participation,well-being,and attainment of the elderly.Based on this,the researcher adapts to the trend of active aging and tries to explore and develop a proactive and engaging social service pension model.The elderly have a very valuable life experience,even deep professional skills.In other words,the elderly are huge potential human resources.If we can maximize the ability of elderly volunteers to “potential shares”,it will be of great benefit to the development of society,and it will help to improve the society's misperception of the “ uselessness ” of the elderly.Because our country's volunteer service is relatively weak,it is often accompanied by the development of social work.The development of social work in our country is in the initial stage of exploration and running-in.There is a lack of motivation for the research and promotion of volunteer services,especially old-age volunteer services.This study is based on the team building of the community's elderly volunteers and builds a community capacity building platform to help the elderly achieve their active old age and explore the potential of the elderly.This study attempts to explore the standardization,specialization,and effective long-term mechanism for the development of old-age volunteer services by using the EPS [Empowerment,Participation,Strengths Perspective] social work intervention model.The unit uses the local elderly volunteer team as the research object.This article uses literature research,field research and other methods to collect research data,combined with participatory action research methods for practical exploration and application research.This study integrates the three methods of community work,group work,and case work.Based on the concept of EPS,it explores the potential of communities,families,and the elderly,and promotes the awareness of elderly volunteers to actively participate in community services through practical work.At the initial stage of the study,there was a problem of lack of policy guidelines,misconceptions,mismanagement,and formalization of services in the old volunteer service of the S community.The elderly volunteers acted as “ followers and errands” in the volunteer service,making them “Potential”did not make the most of it,and even weakened the original intention of volunteering.Researchers through the capacity-building team to enhance the elderly volunteer community service capabilities and awareness.It also established a capacity building platform for the “Community Dream Workshop” to assist elderly volunteers to independently complete the practice of community service and create a good community volunteer service atmosphere.The EPS model's contribution to this study is that it provides researchers with a broader perspective.In practice,it has played the most advanced functions of elderly volunteers,communities,and the government to enhance the participation of various community systems.The best “entitlement”of the whole community.Researchers believe that the EPS model will be helpful to the development of elderly volunteers.However,due to the fact that this model was introduced into Hong Kong from Hong Kong soon,the actual literature and experience are insufficient.On this basis,the researchers launched a series of practical work and discussed.From the research,it can be seen that although the theoretical model of EPS can be applied to the social work practice,it can be applied,but its theoretical model and practical methods need to be further studied and explored.In addition,there is still much room for improvement,no matter whether it is the implementer's practical ability or the operability and practicality of the research and design.
