Research On The Path Of Social Work Intervention In Volunteer Service

Time banking,with the basic principle of "equal time exchange",emerges at the historic moment under the background of marketization,which injects vigor and vitality into the development of voluntary services.In recent years,Nanjing has achieved good results in the implementation of time bank pilot work,but there are also some dilemmas.This study mainly adopts a qualitative research method,taking the "Let Love Continue" time bank volunteering project as a case study,entering the field and collecting first-hand information.Combining policies,big data information and existing experiences,this study investigates the Time Bank in J District to find space for social work intervention and help the development of voluntary service.In this paper,the Time Bank is faced with such dilemmas as a single group of volunteers and a serious loss of staff,insufficient volunteer service resources,low quality of volunteer service and insufficient standardization of volunteer service management.There are three ways for social work to get involved in the time bank voluntary service.First,the macro level intervention,that is,social work plays the role of policy advocacy,advocating government departments to strengthen the time bank system construction,publicize the time bank,build an informationized time bank platform,increase volunteer service resources and play the leading role of Party members;The second is the the meso level intervention,that is,the use of social work administration methods,help the Time Bank to establish a volunteer recruitment and assessment mechanism,establish a volunteer management standard,complete the volunteer service mechanism and enrich incentive methods;The third is the micro level intervention,that is,social work uses professional knowledge and method to help volunteer time bank complete implementation,including the demand research of the volunteer,dividing volunteer positions,volunteer training,improving volunteers' participation initiative,strengthen the volunteer network,linking diversified resources and condensing volunteer spirit.
