Research On The Application Of Project Management In Higher Vocational Colleges

In recent years,the number of enrolled students in vocational colleges in China has shown a rapid growth trend.According to data from the Ministry of Education,in 2017,the number of students in vocational colleges has exceeded 26 million.Under the background that China's economy has shifted from high-speed development to high-quality development,the demand for higher vocational and technical personnel in the employing market has gradually expanded,and the requirements for the quality of personnel have also become higher and higher.How to improve the quality of personnel training and school management efficiency has become a common concern of higher vocational colleges.For this reason,this paper explores the application of project management ideas and methods in academic activities in vocational colleges,analyzes specific cases,and provides relevant plans and implementation methods.It hopes to improve the management efficiency and talents of higher vocational colleges and the quality of training.This article first analyzes the effective combination of project management and academic activities in vocational colleges,and points out that there are diversification and complications in the academic activities of higher vocational colleges.This characteristic has a good fit with the characteristics of project management.And the more detailed organizational structure of higher vocational colleges provides the foundation for the application of project management.Secondly,take DP Vocational College as an example to classify academic activities and analyze the current situation of academic activities.It is found that academic activities have low management efficiency,uneven distribution of resources,and the current status of tutor teams does not conform to actual development.Finally,combined with the project management content,the program design was carried out on project planning,implementation and evaluation.The case studies were analyzed from the case of students' self-disciplinedevelopment project,new graduates' individualized employment guidance project,and the clique's “Chinese Dream”chorus competition project.The project organization structure was established on the basis of the existing organizational structure of the DP Vocational College.The responsibilities of different departments should be worked out in carrying out the project.Corresponding project schedule and time nodes according to the objectives and dates of the project are formulated.The evaluation and assessment rules after the implementation of the project are formulated,aiming at effectively solving the problems in the development of DP vocational school activities and enhancing work efficiency.It can improve quality and effectiveness of work;improve innovation ability.At last,it can seek to improve and enhance students' self-management,communication with people,practice and innovation.The professional quality and professional identity of counselors in the frontline work are improved.The career development can be deepened.
